place was comfy enough and was book at last minute on holiday weekend and price as very high the property, but under the circumstance expected. would stay again

Comfortable beds and bathroom very clean. Breakfast had eggs , bacon, sausage, yogurt, cereal, fresh fruit... Outside pleasant patio seating for breakfast. The pool was warm. Outstanding hotel staff.

Hotels in Santa Barbara are too expensive for what they are. Carpinteria is not too far from Santa Barbara, it is a small town with a nice beach and with accommodations that are more affordable.

Breakfast was good. The location was excellent. It was good for two nights. Carpinteria is a great place to stay in between Ventura and Santa Barbra. No traffic to speak of. Easy to park for a beach city.

The hotel location was ideal for our trip to Carpinteria. The staff was super from the front desk to housekeeping. Breakfast was great and one of the big reasons I choose to stay at HIE! I realized when I got home that I had left a pair of boots in my room at checkout. I contacted the hotel and housekeeping had found them and I got my boots back! This location is well maintained and I will certainly stay here again.
